Public posts
Active posts display your nickname, event details, story and recognition question. Anyone can browse or share them. Do not include full names, contact information, private locations, social handles or photographs of strangers.
Your private inbox
Starting an inbox creates an anonymous Supabase account and stores its session securely in this browser’s storage. Use this same browser to return. Clearing browser data, losing your device or switching browsers can permanently lose access. Guest inboxes have no email recovery or email notifications. Saved bookmarks are also local to this browser.
Private replies
Replies, recognition answers and author responses are available through the app only to the two participants. They are not end-to-end encrypted: the operator and infrastructure providers can access stored records for service administration. Moderators review reported public stories.
Storage and deletion
Netlify hosts this site. Supabase stores accounts, posts and conversations in the United States. Active posts disappear from public browsing after 60 days; authors can close or delete them earlier. Deleting a post deletes its replies and reports from the live app. Provider backups and security logs may persist according to provider retention.
Abuse prevention
The service limits posting and replying and stores a salted hash derived from the request network address to help prevent abuse. Block and Report are available on posts and conversations. Reports enter the owner’s moderation queue; responses are not immediate and this service is not for emergencies.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow it. Enhanced measurement, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our integration. We send generic page categories and allowlisted actions, never stories, reply text, recognition answers, email addresses, account IDs, connection IDs or raw search terms. Your browser may send technical network information such as an IP address to Google when you opt in. You can withdraw consent using Analytics preferences in the footer.
Sharing and help
Sharing buttons open the app you choose; nothing is sent automatically. Share links reveal the public page or post. For content concerns, use Report on the relevant post; the owner can review and hide reported stories. For a lost inbox, we cannot restore a guest identity without its session.
